St. Paul, MN - Today, House DFL Leader Melissa Hortman announced a bipartisan power-sharing agreement that will allow the Minnesota House to begin conducting business during today’s session at 3:30 pm. Rep. Mary Frances Clardy(DFL-Inver Grove Heights) released the following statement:
“Democrats and Republicans will need to work together to get things done this session. With a tied House, we need bipartisan action to pass bills and move our Inver Grove Heights, West Saint Paul, Mendota Heights, Lilydale, and Sunfish Lake forward. As I have been saying since right after the election: Democrats are ready to work with Republicans to govern effectively and make more progress for Minnesotans and our state’s future.”
